Samana's El Catey International Airport (shown above) and the El Portillo airstrip serving El Portillo and Las Terrenas. 

 

AIRPORT WAS OFFICIALLY INAGURATED AND IS NOW OPEN!  The airport is already receiving flights from Canada and Europe visiting the Samana Peninsula.

This airport is a 30 minutes drive to Las Terrenas, 40 minutes drive to Santa Barbara de Saman and aprox. 1 hour to Las Galeras. The times are aproximate, driving in D.R. depends of to many factors to be pricise and on time.
